Vincent Beckmann
Vincent is a musician and political economist who fuses his musical and academic influences into a raw,funk-infused sound—introspective psychedelia driven by physical rhythms.
Born in Hamburg , he grew up inspired by 90s funk-rock, grunge, and electronica . He began playing jazz drums at 12, performed in big bands and ensembles, and attended Berklee College of Music twice and studies Music Production and Business at University of Westminster in London.
While pursuing a PhD in political economy and working as a consultant in the energy sector, he ultimately returned to his musical endeavors and works as a freelance producer & engineer at Tricone Studios in Funkhaus Berlin.
Vincent shapes his sound as a producer, engineer, composer, drummer, and DJ. He also runs Enbeezee, a label releasing vinyl and digital music while organizing events in Hamburg and Berlin. He has released on labels such as Doom Chakra Tapes, LAP Records, Paradoxy and Enbeezee.
